New Apparel Company Formed To Promote Charitable Giving

PR Log (Press Release) – Sep 23, 2008 – An entrepreneur in Los Angeles County has formed a new clothing company called Mark de Apparel. The company’s core mission, aside from providing customers with high-quality shirts, is to encourage charitable giving. Each line of clothing has an associated “cause” with a portion of the profits of each shirt sold being donated to a credible organization.

“We believe that every business has the ability, and therefore the responsibility, to make tangible contributions to society through their offerings, or alternatively, their earnings,” said Mark de Grasse, founder and sole member. “We provide designer shirts and the opportunity to contribute to a credible cause at the same time.”

Depending on the clothing series, a percentage of each shirt sale will be donated to organizations like the UCI Medical Center, Mary’s Shelter, or the American Institute of Philanthropy. Mark de Apparel is also partnering with a talented group of like-minded clothing designers, including Gus Leano of finland lifeguard & beach co., Karen Harrison of KoZi Clothing, and Marcus Martinez of MBody Strength. Each designer brings a valuable contribution to the offering and culture of Mark de Apparel.

Mark de Apparel, in association with finland lifeguard & beach co., KoZi Clothing, MBody Strength, and artist Maria Rangel, is hosting a launch party on September 28, 2008 at the Rangal Studio in Downtown Santa Ana. The website, www.markde.com, launched September 19, 2008 and is currently accepting a limited amount of orders prior to the launch party. Sale prices are currently being offered through October 15, 2008.

“Everyone has a cause,” said Mark de Grasse, “we’d just like to give people one more way to support that cause.”
