It is no secret that the dining experience within the Long Beach Island Region is deliciously diverse, with restaurants specializing in every flavor and ambiance. It is in celebration of the restaurants and their chefs that the DMO Initiative Committee is planning a Long Beach Island Region Restaurant Week beginning Sunday June 7 through Friday June 12, 2009.
This week long event will feature a variety of three course dinner choices from a prix fixe menu created by participating member restaurants. The cost of the complete dinner will range from $20 to $35.00. This will be the perfect time to try new restaurants and visit favorites, while sampling signature dishes throughout the region.
The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce will have lists for restaurants, updated menus and prices on their website in time for connoisseurs to review. The Chamber is also partnering with Long Beach Island Foundation, ReClam The Bay and Tuckerton Seaport to provide a schedule of events gearing around chef talks and cooking demonstrations
