Mazda Taiki, the fourth sports concept car in the Mazda Nagare design series, builds upon the theme of flow to project a new image as well as reflecting the layers of atmosphere enveloping the earth, which is the meaning of the word Taiki in Japanese.
Taiki is rear-wheel driven with short overhang and clear glass body all round to evoke the feeling of transparency and lightness. Its interior design follows the concept of air-tube or a flag of carp swimming against current and the renowned Mazda RENESIS rotary engine sets new standards in both driving performance and environmental friendliness.
