The IndieAuthor Guide, A Comprehensive Reference to Self-Publishing and Managing Your Career in Indie Authorship (http://www.amazon.com/
“There are already many, many hardcover and paperback books out there on self-publishing and authorship but when I set out to self-publish my own books, I couldn’t find a single title that would meet all my needs. Some only covered one topic, like promotion or editing, while others were far too general and lacked the step-by-step directions I was looking for. Many were aimed at authors who want to launch a publishing business of some sort, and most weren’t published recently enough to adequately cover eBook technologies like the Kindle™. The IndieAuthor Guide is the book I wish had been available back then: a truly comprehensive guide, not only to self-publishing for Print on Demand and eBooks, but also to managing a career in indie authorship. The reviews of the trade paperback edition show my book is filling a niche, but it’s lost in a sea of related books in Amazon’s™ general book store.
“I didn’t originally intend to release a Kindle™ edition of The IndieAuthor Guide, because the book is heavily illustrated and it’s difficult to get graphics to appear exactly how and where you want them in a Kindle™ book. When I realized most of those other books on self-publishing haven’t been released in Kindle™ format I saw a great opportunity for my book. It took a lot of time and hard work to preserve The IndieAuthor Guide’s illustrations in Kindle™ format, but I see now the effort was well worth it.”
