Grammy award winning Dolly Parton will be the guest performer for the “Evening Among Friends “ Organized by the St. Mark Roman Catholic Church. This fundraising concert will be held to benefit breast cancer awareness and the St Anne Home for Mentally Challenged Women.
We’re thrilled to have Dolly Parton for this Encore Performance. “Evening of Friends grew out of concept that the Church is called to improve the quality of life and give back what has been received. The mission of St Marks church is to foster Christian values through Christian education and to promote the dignity of the person, family and community through worship, service and fellowship” said Reverend James W Sichko
In addition to the concert, Sun Sauce and several other beauty product companies have donated to products for gift baskets to be auctioned to raise money for this event and for the Imagination Library Charity founded by Dolly Parton. In 1996 Dolly Parton launched an exciting new effort to benefit the children of her home county in east Tennessee. Dolly wanted to foster a love of reading among her county’s preschool children and their families. She wanted children to be excited about books and to feel the magic that books can create. Moreover, she could insure that every child would have books, regardless of their family’s income
