Seawings 1st anniversary bash
Seawings, the aerial sightseeing sensation that provides a magical journey along Dubai’s dramatic and ever changing coastal skyline in a “Cessna 208 Caravan Amphibian” seaplane has completed 1 year of operations in Dubai.
On 15th September 2008 Seawings hosted a party exclusively for
PA Club members to celebrate this occasion. The party was held at Club Joumana, Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa in association with Jebel Ali hotel and Dhamani Jewelers as co partners.
Seawings commenced operations on 11th August 2007. Based at Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa, Seawings began operating with just one aircraft and a handful of staff members. Today the company has grown to include 3 aircraft and a staff base of over 70 members.
The event was a curtain raiser to its newest tour venture Seawings Lifestyle.
In collaboration with Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa Seawings offers Seawings Lifestyle tour package which comprises the ever popular 40 minute Seawings Silver Seaplane sightseeing tour, followed by a choice of one of the following resort facilities:
• 9 holes of golf
• A relaxing 2 hour spa treatment
• Half day beach access
Over the past year Seawings has created various tour options, each aimed at a particular target audience and each tailored to meet certain requirements.
In the span of a year Seawings has successfully proved itself a truly unique sightseeing service, attracting thousands of tourists and residents alike, providing an opportunity to view Dubai from a different vantage point. Today Seawings is undoubtedly “the No.1 thing to do in Dubai” as quoted by the New York Times.
Besides witnessing the launch of Seawings Lifestyle, the guests were treated to Seawings gift vouchers, Jebel Ali Resort vouchers and diamond-pearl jewellery sponsored by Dhamani Jewellers.
Overwhelmed by Seawings’ success, Stuart Wheeler, CEO said, “A couple of years back we realized that Dubai needs a unique way to be looked at and we knew that Seawings would fill that void.
