The Home Buying Fair is managed and sponsored by Live Baltimore, an organization providing comprehensive information about the city neighborhoods, real estate professionals and home buying incentive programs. The event is held twice a year in May and September. The objective of the fall Home Buying Fair is to provide an opportunity for homebuyers and sellers to get to know the east side of Baltimore City and see what the neighborhoods have to offer. It also provided potential home owners a chance to meet service providers like Banks, title companies, community organizations and realtors, take educational classes about the home buying process and home ownership.
“This is a great opportunity for future homeowners to become more educated about the home buying process. Education is power and a more educated buyer is less likely to purchase a home that is beyond their means, thus preventing short sales and foreclosures,”
States the broker of Advance Realty Anne Arundel, June Piper Brandon. June is actively involved in both Buying into Baltimore events and won a service award last year from Live Baltimore for her enthusiastic participation. In addition the exhibitor held activities and drawings, the city of Baltimore as well as the Live Baltimore organization gives away 50 grants worth $3,000 each at every home buying fair to the first 50 people to go under contract and settle after the event. Advance Realty Anne Arundel has successfully helped many homeowners purchase their home after each Buying into Baltimore event.
Advance Realty, known for its low 1.75% fee and expert full-service offering, was established in 2001 in Baltimore Maryland and developed as a new real estate franchise that would end the pattern of climbing fees so commonly associated with real estate. Now with offices in multiple states, the company offers complete real estate services and money-saving programs to clients in addition to numerous agent benefits including profit sharing, integrated real estate technologies and comprehensive training.
