Scilab
The Scilab Consortium is responsible for the development of the software Scilab. Scilab is a powerful open-source software for numerical calculations and control loop development. The consortium is part of the Digiteo research network whose headquarters are based in Paris. Digiteo connects over 1200 scientists worldwide who are working in the area of information technology and computer science. Cosateq will contribute enormously to this network with its vast experience with Linux real-time systems. Cosateq’s renowned product SCALE-RT allows the user to execute simulation models developed in Scilab/Scicos on a real-time target system.
Steffen Pfohl, the lead system engineer at Cosateq, who is currently working with the consortium: “As members of the consortium, we can actively drive the future development of Scilab and can add our vast know-how with real-time simulations.”
