Kitchener’s Welcome Wagon Bridal Showcase kicked off a beautiful fall wedding season at the Kitchener City Hall on September 14, 2008.
This Fall Bridal Showcase provided eager brides-to-be a one-stop shop for everything bridal: from wedding dresses and bridal fashions to disc jockeys, audio/visual companies, cake decorators and other regional wedding professionals. Many exhibitors provided free samples as well as discounts exclusively for show attendees.
But it was not all business. The Welcome Wagon Bridal Showcase focused on fun as well as face-to-face meetings between customers and vendors. A high energy runway show featured the latest in bridal fashion courtesy of Belle’s Bridal Boutique, Tuxedo Royale and Frey’s Flowers. Brilliantly emceed by Jennifer Campbell from KIX 106.7 FM, she kept the mood of the bridal show light and festive. Free gift bags, bridal magazines and wedding planners were given to all brides-to-be. As well, they had an opportunity to win the Grand Door Prize of a luxurious 5-hr “Girls’ Night-Out” limousine service, generously provided by Brentwood Livery.
