Sept. 18, 2008 - PRLog -- WheelsTV Network, world leaders in the production and distribution of automotive lifestyle content, today announced plans to produce the first ever live interactive webcast of an outdoor auto show.  For five hours on Sunday, September 21st, the WheelsTV production crews will be shooting the Appleman Auto Show, a charitable event being held at Kimball Farm in Westford, Massachusetts to benefit students in need of special assistance in the Littleton, Mass school system.  The auto show, sponsored by the Littleton Rotary Club and Kimball Farm is expected to attract over 500 show cars and 10,000 visitors.

The live interactive webcast will be available at www.WheelsTV.net. It will cover all of the action, including interviews with show car owners, musical entertainment, muffler rap, sound explosion and slow drag competitions and awards.  The webcast is being produced using the latest Mogulus software, which allows viewers to chat during the webcast.  The signal will be riding on the Sprint data network.  This international event already has created buzz as far away is the U.K., Singapore and Sweden, where contingents of American ex-pats and WheelsTV fans will be tuning-in.

“WheelsTV is considered by many to be the leading automotive television and video provider on the Internet. But we are also a technology company that develops innovative communication tools and puts them to practical use in the world’s largest marketplace, automotive,” says Lehel Reeves, president of WheelsTV.  “Our first ever live interactive webcast is one of WheelsTV’s many technological firsts. We’re very pleased to providing the worldwide motoring public with live automotive entertainment and the opportunity to participate via live chat!”

The multi-camera webcast is being spearheaded by Collin Davis, director of digital media at WheelsTV and hosted by Eric Barisano, best known for his popular international radio shows originating from Radio AF in Lund, Sweden.
