Growing up in Dallas, Vazquez began sketching and sewing at a young age and developed a keen eye for style. After graduating from George Washington University in 2002, her love of fashion led her to NYC where she developed her first collection of belts, name Applestar, that she never dreamed would leave her living room.  Vazquez was determined to build the brand into a national success and tapped all of her resources to borrow $5,000 to attend a national accessories trade show.  A buyer from Nordstrom immediately took interest in her designs and within six months Applestar grew to a full accessory line and eventually sold in Nordstrom stores across the country. Vazquez’s inspirational story provides a shining example that dreams do indeed come true.  

After tenure at W magazine and launching two successful accessories companies, Vazquez has quickly become known as a quotable fashion expert. Her friendly and approachable commentary gained popularity among women with small budgets and those with little or no knowledge of fashion. Vazquez currently uses her fashion insight as a style expert, appearing on QVC, The Shopping Network, Philly.com and the WE Network. Her goal is to help women feel confident and chic, whether their budget is $50 or $5,000.
