New York City-based, boutique creative agency, Spoon + Fork, was selected as a winner in the 2008 American Graphic Design Awards, honoring outstanding work in graphic design. Founders of Spoon+Fork, Rika Koreeda, Pritsana Kootint, and Chez Bryan Ong, along with their team, were honored with two awards, one for website design of Latino and Urban cinema website, Cinedulce (www.cinedulce.com)
This is the third consecutive year Spoon+Fork has been a winner in this contest, and have received eight American Graphic Design Awards in total. This prestigious competition among graphic design industry insiders drew over 10,000-plus entries and of these, only 15 percent were recognized with an award. As an added bonus to the team, Spoon+Fork’s award-winning pieces, Cinedulce.com and This is A Bust, will be published in the American Graphic Awards Design Annual, which is distributed amongst design professionals throughout the year at leading design shows and events, on the Design Annual website at www.gdusa.com, and in the December issue of Graphic Design USA. With these two award-winning pieces to be published across the country in a “who’s who” of the graphic design industry, Spoon+Fork are sure to spark a hunger for more delicious design.
