Scare fanatics in Georgia and surrounding states will be excited to learn that Georgia’s Camp Blood is charging into the 2008 haunt season, opening on-schedule, on September 20th.
“The new website is ready, the monsters are prepared, it’s time to begin our 15th year!” says Camp Blood Administrator Mark Atcheson. Atcheson notes that in 2008, Camp Blood will be taking horror to a new level, expanding Mabel’s Bled and Breakfast as a second haunt promising visitors the opportunity to ‘Spend one night with us for the "Rest" of you life!’ “Everyone involved is excited about the new stuff, but we know Camp Blood is the big draw and we’ve been working since July to make it better than ever!”
Camp Blood and Mabel's Bled and Breakfast are open Friday and Saturday nights beginning September 20th thru September 28th, then Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights beginning October 2nd thru October 27th. We will also be open October 29th, 30th and 31st. The frights begin at 9pm. We close weeknights at 11pm and weekends at midnight. A complete schedule is available on the website.
Unlike the standard walk and stumble attractions, Camp Blood’s guides take groups of visitors through a ‘quarter mile of sheer terror’. Visitors find themselves walking, stopping, screaming, jumping, running, and cowering as they attempt to keep up with the sneaky guides and dodge the monsters.
