DuctSox Systems is ducting constructed of fabric that is shaped as cylindrical tubes for use in open ceiling architecture and half-round or quarter panel for use in closed ceilings.
They are used to distribute and diffuse heated, cooled, refrigerated and make-up air. Fabric duct offers a variety of benefits the traditional metal solution often cannot.
The cost of DuctSox is 20% - 80% less than metal; savings are possible from the reduced labour required to install the systems compared to install metal and savings increase with size as unlike metal, the labour time required to install a 1500mm diameter DuctSox is virtually the same as a 500mm diameter.
Savings increase further when using air porous models when compared to double-wall spiral metal or premium materials such as aluminium, stainless or PVC coated. DuctSox systems are custom designed and require little if any balancing.
DuctSox fabric systems can be aesthetically pleasing to the eye as they are available in a variety of standard colours including custom dyed to match any interior décor. High performance dyes used inhibit damage from ultraviolet light and chlorination found in swimming pool environments.
