PR Log (Press Release)Sep 16, 2008 – Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong makes Christmas shopping a pleasure this year with its All Wrapped Up package.  Priced from HK$14,500 plus 10% service charge the offer includes a stay at the legendary Hong Kong hotel with a personalised guided shopping tour of Hong Kong’s most renowned shopping areas. Upon return to the hotel, guests may unwind in the peaceful environs of The Mandarin Spa while the hotel will collect, gift wrap and deliver the purchases to the hotel room.

“Hong Kong is the world’s favourite shopping destination,” says General Manager, Peter French, “and Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is delighted to share our insider knowledge of the best places to shop.  From exclusive designer wear in luxurious malls to Chinese arts and antiques from markets, we know all the finest places.  This year our experts open the doors of Hong Kong’s best shopping locales for the perfect opportunity to pick up Christmas presents, whether for friends and family – or even something special for yourself.”

The All Wrapped Up package gives guests exclusive access to shops that are little-known or hard to find and each excursion is tailor-made to the guest’s requirements.  Possibilities are boundless, but include a guided tour of Hong Kong’s jade market; visits to designer stores for custom made luxury; consultations with a jewellery designer or even visiting a local tailor for a hand-stitched suit or dress, or cobbler for made-to-measure shoes.

About the All Wrapped Up package:
The All Wrapped Up package, is based on two adults sharing a Deluxe Room and is priced from HK$14,500 plus 10% service charge.  The package includes:

•   Two nights’ accommodation in a Deluxe Room for two adults.
•   Daily breakfast for two in Clipper Lounge or Café Causette.
•   A three-hour guided shopping excursion.
•   A two-hour Time Ritual spa treatment at the Mandarin Spa for one.
•   Collection, wrapping and delivery of shopping items to the guest’s room.
•   Priority restaurant reservations at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.
•   Chocolate welcome gift.

Note: purchases and international shipment of items not included in the rate.  Guided tour may vary depending on requests made.  Rates are valid from 1 December until 31 December 2008 and suite rates are available on request.
