The Edinburgh Community Concept truly is “traditional-
At Edinburgh, you will find fishing lakes, a clubhouse, swimming pool, nature trails, park like atmosphere, BB-Q grilling areas, and much more. The Edinburgh Group donated a large piece of the property to the City of Kingsport to build the new John Adams Elementary School.
In addition to many of the features already mentioned, Edinburgh Group has been extremely conscious of preserving the surrounding environment and focused on implementing many green and sustainable features within the community.
Green elements you can find in a well crafted Edinburgh Home and Community; bamboo flooring, soy-foam insulation, the highest-quality double pane windows and doors, 50 year shingles, and many other great features. The John Adams Elementary School itself is currently utilizing a Geo-Thermal heating and cooling system for the entire building.
Darin and Danny Karst, of The Edinburgh Group stated, “We wanted to create a community that focuses on family and neighbors. We want kids to experience something similar to when we were growing up. Edinburgh is intended to bring back the traditional way of living. It starts with the quality craftsmanship of the homes, and ends with true life experiences with friends and family.”
