Tonya has been writing since she won a prize in second grade in the Young Author’s contest. She has written for newspapers and magazines for approximately 3 ½ years and recently published her first book, a young adult inspirational fiction book called MEANT TO BE.
THE SMARTEST LITTLE ARTIST is her second book. She has always had a love of art and photography and taught a preschool art class at her local recreation center. She wanted to create this book THE SMARTEST LITTLE ARTIST to teach children about art through fun projects and creative writing. She lives in Virginia and her daughters are very excited about Mom writing a children’s book.
“This book is the first in a series, called THE SMARTEST LITTLE ARTIST. The series is designed to foster a love of poetry, literature, creative writing, photography and various forms of art in children. It will to help stimulate creatively and help children learn, while having fun at the same time.
It features children’s stories, poems, artwork, and illustrations that kids can color and photographs, and encourages kids to create their own expressions. It is very interactive and encourages parents and grandparents to do activities with their kids. It is educational in two ways – it stimulates their intellectual side as well as their artistic one.”
