The sounds of platform shoes and disco beats will be back in Chesterfield this month for fans of the 70s and 80s.
A 70s and 80s disco night is returning to The Legacy Chesterfield Hotel in Malkin Street on Friday September 26. Close to 80 people have already booked their place to boogie to the sounds of yesteryear – with music ranging from Abba to Madness on the play list.
Kath Pearson, meetings and events co-ordinator at The Legacy Chesterfield Hotel, said: “The last 70s and 80s disco was a fantastic night, and was extremely popular.
“There was an array of music, as well as fashion displays from flares and leg warmers, to neon colours and tie-dye!
“I am excited to see what inspired looks hit the dance floor this year and I hope there will be even more extreme makeovers than our previous events.
“This event is expected to be another sell-out, as the two great periods of music prove to be incredibly popular.”
Doors open at 7pm and a hot and cold buffet will be served at 8pm. Tickets cost £14.95 per person.
