San Lorenzo Colonial Fort
First we will travel to the North to the Atlantic coast where we will actually crossover the Panama canal by bridge giving you a rare view of the locks that is seldom seen by other travellers. We will then enter into the virgen rainforest to observe the vast array of animal species that make this pristine habitat home. We will then journey to San Lorenzo fort which is called the "Guard of the Chagres" some history, for 75 years the fort with only 300 soldiers repelled numerous attacks by the Pirates of the Caribbean the cannons still stand in this living testament to history.
Gatun Locks, Colon
After vist the fort we will travel to the Gatun locks where the 10,000+ ton vessels (20+ more)passing through the Panama Canal daily are almost close enough to touch!
