Forever Family Foundation, a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that supports the premise that life does not end with physical death, will be sharing supportive scientific evidence in a groundbreaking conference on November 8, 2008 at the Woodlands Mansion at the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course, Woodbury, New York. World renowned physicist and author, Dr. Claude Swanson and researchers, Tom and Lisa Butler, directors of The American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena will be brought together to raise awareness about the extensive research of consciousness and the implications that we survive our physical deaths.

The conference is designed for the public rather than a scientific audience. The speakers will present bodies of evidence on near-death experiences, reincarnation, the nature of consciousness, quantum physics, ghosts and apparitions, afterlife encounters, mediumship, electronic voice phenomena and other examples of non-local consciousness that suggest an existence beyond our physical lives.

An afternoon Luncheon/Fundraiser will follow the morning lectures with a presentation on channeled languages and spirit communication for those in attendance provided by credentialed mediums.

Dr. Claude Swanson – Dr. Claude Swanson was educated as a physicist at MIT and Princeton University. During those years he worked at the MIT Science Teaching Center, Brookhaven National Laboratory and a Virginia cyclotron in the summer. Swanson conducted postgraduate work at Princeton and Cornell Universities on the design of superconducting plasma containment vessels for fusion energy systems. For the last fifteen years, interspersed with his conventional professional career in applied physics, Dr. Swanson has pursued investigations into "unconventional physics." His principal interest has been unified field theory, the so-called "Theory of Everything" which could explain the universe at the deepest possible level. This has led him to investigate many aspects of the paranormal, which appear to be completely real phenomena which violate our present science. Paranormal phenomena, which have now been proven in the laboratory in many cases, offer a window into the deeper universe, the mysteries of consciousness, and unlock new forces and principles which conventional science has only begun to glimpse.
Tom and Lisa Butler – The Butlers are currently the directors of The American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena. Tom Butler has an Electronics Engineering degree and Lisa has a degree in psychology. Both have been deeply interested in metaphysical concepts, human potential and all forms of etheric to physical phenomena since childhood. Together, they have extensively studied many subject areas, including energy healing, mediumship, metaphysics and spirituality. Tom and Lisa Butler's personal ITC research is focused on finding a way to better understand who is communicating, how the phenomenal voices and features are formed and why. They believe that the real value in working with these phenomena is in learning more about the greater reality and conclusively showing that the communicators are evidence of personal survival after so-called death. They come in contact with many people who grieve about the loss of a loved one, and who have found relief from that grief by hearing the voice of the loved one tell them via EVP things that only that person would say. They know that EVP is a powerful tool for teaching people that their loved ones are just fine in a new world, just as they will be when their time comes. Late in 2004, Universal Pictures contracted the Butlers to help them promote the movie, White Noise. Their informative presentation will be followed by a "How to" with the Butlers.
Janet Mayer – Janet Mayer is a former research medium at The University of Arizona’s VERITAS program, and current member of the Medium Advisory Board of Forever Family Foundation. In addition to providing mediumship evidence of an afterlife, Janet exhibits Xenoglossy, the ability to speak languages previously unknown to her. Her lengthy journey of discovery has disclosed that she speaks three dialects of the language of the Yanomami Tribes, ancient dwellers of the rain forest.
