This year's FestaVino 2008 will benefit the San Gennaro Foundation and will be held to coincide with the traditional festival of San Gennaro held in Naples,Italy each year. Center Stage this year for a special guest demo and cooking seminar will be celebrity chef and bestselling author-Maria Liberati. Maria will be sharing her recipes from her cooking programs in Tuscany and sharing stories of her life in Italy. The Basic Art of Italian Cooking by Maria Librati tm is aocoking method and trademark developed by Maria Liberati to promote healthy, fresh, yet, simple traditional Italian cooking. She combines her nutritional backgorund with her cooking style and develops or updates traditional Italian recipes. She was selected as this year's media spokesperson for the American Academy of Ophthamologists for their healhty eating campaign-Feast For Your Eyes and has been featured in many national magazines including Woman's World,Cooking Light, Healthy Cooking ,Taste of Italia and more. Her next book The Basic Art of Italian Cooking-Holidays and Special Occasions will be released in 2009.
