Gartner places GIMACOM in the EMEA Vendor Product Maps for ECM (Enterprise Content Management).

According to Gartner, the most respected research and consulting advisor in the IT services, GIMACOM (www.gimacom.com) is included as one of the most influential vendors of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) technologies: among the top 20 players in the EMEA market (top 5 in Italy).

Inclusion criteria adopted by Gartner evaluate the following components: Document Library Services as     check-in/check-out and versioning; Document Imaging Repository capabilities; Record Management (RM); Workflow – a critical technology providing more points -- Web Content Management (WCM); Document-Centric Collaboration as document sharing and project team support.

According to GIMACOM's management, Gartner’s report captures the strong position we’ve built as an established player in the ECM market and the trends cited are in line with our strategic direction to provide vertical solutions centered on the automation of document process to address customers’ increasingly complex regulatory and compliance requirements.

Such an ambitious achievement rewards a positioning strategy based on two main approaches namely: “solution specialisation” (i.e. reusable best practices binding content management to business process) and “industry focus” (i.e. the company’s responsiveness to specific business expertise) that leveraged the company’s ability to deliver valuable results.
