Anchor Audio has been in the business of manufacturing a wide range of portable sound systems for over 30 years. The hospitality industry throughout the world has relied on an Anchor Audio portable sound system to reach their audiences whether it is a group of 100 people or a crowd of 5,000 cheering fans.
According to businessman and Foundation Board Member Little Company Hospital James Watson, the Anchor Audio Liberty sound system is the ideal portable speaker for any large crowd.
“I knew we needed to speak loudly and clearly to make sure every person in attendance could hear the speakers above the “buzz” of the background noise. The Liberty sound system delivers every time,” says Watson.

“At an important fundraising event you can’t afford to lose connection with your supporters. If they can’t hear instructions for the auction, then you are losing their interest and very importantly their financial contribution to your cause,” reports Watson.
The Liberty reaches crowds up to 2,000 and operates 6-8 hours on a single charge cycle. The Liberty sound systems can be placed through out the room via a connection cable in a ‘daisy chain” that allows even distribution of sound to each and every guest.
Anchor Audio makes it easy for everyone to use their sound system right out of the box. The Liberty Basic Package includes a wireless microphone, a built-in CD player and a speaker stand. Microphone choices include a handheld, headband, lapel or collar microphone. A power switch and a volume control knob are the two essential functions of the Liberty sound system. Each sound system includes a set-up guide with simple words and graphics to get anyone started.
“The Liberty sound system is very easy to use,” says Mr. Watson. “The microphones and the Liberty need to be set to the same channel for wireless reception. It takes a second to select a channel on the Liberty and then select the same channel on the microphone. Turn on the power, adjust the volume and begin speaking.”
Rio Hondo Country Club in Downey, California was the venue for a Quinceañera Birthday Celebration where the Liberty sound system was used in several locations. The mariachi band played on the patio, and speeches were given in the dining room.
“The Liberty portable sound system from Anchor Audio is reliable and easy to operate,” says party organizer Belinda Hernandez.
“The Liberty was used by the band on the outdoor patio as the guests arrived. Then we moved the Liberty into the main room for speeches. A wired microphone was used as well as a wireless microphone that was passed among the guests for Happy Birthday wishes.”
The Liberty is available with up to two wireless microphones and also two wired microphone. With the capability of four microphone operating in one venue, the needs of most users are met. A built-in CD is ideal for dance music or subdued background music.
Ms. Hernandez adds, “When it came time for the party goers to make speeches, the wireless handheld microphone was passed among the guests. Some people had clearly never spoken into a microphone, but they looked liked they enjoyed the experience.”

“I have never had a problem with a Liberty. It’s charged after every event and ready to go for the next one,” says Ms. Hernandez.
“A girl’s fifteenth birthday party is very special to her and her parents. We don’t want any problems, and a sound system must deliver music and speech perfectly. Anchor Audio’s Liberty sound system performs to expectations every single time.”
