Online retail sales sustained its double-digit growth rate year-over-year, though sales from offline stores are declined indicating that customers are more comfortable with the online shopping than offline stores.

According to a survey by Forrester Research Inc, online retail sales in 2007 reached $175 billion, a 21% increase over $144.6 billion in 2006.
Online retail sales sustains double-digit growth rate

Online sales have seen a slight decline in the growth rate, but sustained its double digit growth rate in 2007.

The sales have increased to $175 billion in 2007 to that of $144.6 billion in 2006, but the growth rate has dropped to 21% in the year 2007 compared to that of 29% in the previous year.
