PRLog -- It has been 7 years since the tragic events of September 11th, 2001, but the memory and the feelings the world experienced on that day will remain forever. As Americans, we have found numerous ways to cope with these events and to remain united. One of those forces that united us was the power of music. “The Heart of America”, written and produced by Al Cohen, Eve Adams, Michael Shotton, and Michael Borosak for ACM Records, Inc., is a song that captures the spirit of America and the liberty, freedom, and justice we stood for. Performed by Michael Shotton and the World Peace Choir, the song has been used by the Salvation Army for their disaster unit relief efforts and has been played on Military radio stations throughout the world. The song has also been performed by the London Ontario Symphony and the Toronto Symphony, and has received praise for its powerful and healing lyrics. “The Heart of America” is a song that fosters hope and brings healing to a nation that has been changed forever. It stands as a musical monument to help us remember the people who lost their lives on that tragic day and to those who have died for the freedoms we enjoy today. “The Heart of America” is available as a single and on the ACM compilation album My America, which also includes other ACM artists such as Frank Enea, Peter Prince, Craig Silver, and Antoinette Tredanary. A potion of the proceeds will go to various charitable organizations that are supported by ACM.
