1stSource acquires Product Handling

Sept. 11, 2008 - PRLog -- 1stSource Products, Inc. Announces the Acquisition of Product Handling ETC Product Line

Jeffersonville, Indiana – September 10, 2008   

1stSource Products, Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Product Handling (PHEI) Logan Enclosed Track Conveyor (ETC) product line. Product Handling Equipment, Inc., a privately held company located in Buckner, KY has been a manufacturer of the round tube light duty Logan ETC product line since 1991. The addition of this new product line which will be rebranded as E-Trac Lite will supplement the existing strong product offering, including E-Trac a heavier load capacity square tube enclosed track conveyor, already available from 1stSource.

This strategic acquisition is a result of the ongoing 1stSource commitment to remain an industry-leader of material handling products and services. The E-Trac family of products which was developed by 1stSource in 2000 continues to expand to meet a wider set of customer needs with standard proven engineered equipment.

Beginning immediately, 1stSource will execute the planned integration of the products, customers, and inventory to ensure a smooth transition that will deliver immediate value for customers.
