Sept. 10, 2008 - PRLog -- Today Laura Cruikshank, president and CEO of Women’s Wellness & Integrated Social Health (WWISH), announced that WWISH will host a Women Connect Event on Thursday, October 2 from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. in Seattle. This special evening will celebrate the recent launch of WWISH, an online interactive magazine that offers support, resources and editorial pertaining to women’s issues and lifestyles. WWISH will also celebrate the unveiling of its website’s latest look and a new introductory video in early October.

The event will be held at Nalanda West, 3902 Woodland Park Avenue North, Seattle. Guests are invited to share a toast, connect with other women and enjoy delicious Indian food provided by Chutney’s. Tickets for the event are $20 each to cover food, wine and one ticket for a special prize drawing. Additional tickets may be purchased for $5 each to win handmade jewelry, massages, private coaching sessions and more in a special drawing. All proceeds for the event will benefit (Wo)Men Speak Out™.

“So far, the response to WWISH has been overwhelming,” Cruikshank said. “Local organizations are anxious to become a part of our resource team, and women are turning to us for advice and inspiration.”
