Peter Vanden Berg is a 43 year-old who based this book on his life experiences as a retired policeman, father, husband and citizen. He tackled his own emotions and challenges and reveals profound issues that we all face in life. He is a custom builder and owns his own home building business. He enjoys his work, family, friends, the great outdoors and life in the rural outskirts of St. Johns, Michigan with his wife, Lisa and their three teenage children.
