ROCHESTER, NY – Saint John Fisher College (SJFC) is pleased to announce that Edward J. Ciaschi, has accepted a part-time position as the Director of the Organizational Learning & Human Resource Development (OL & HRD) Graduate program. His appointment is effective immediately.
In his new role as Director, Mr. Ciaschi will ensure that the curriculum prepares the HR graduate students to take on the role as HR change agents in a changing global economy and multigenerational employee population. He will focus on adding the elements of today’s business world into the existing program.
Ciaschi has been appointed as the replacement for Timothy Franz, Ph.D. Director & Chair, Graduate Human Resource Development Program, who has resigned prior to the Fall 2008 semester to return full-time to the SJFC faculty. Franz is also the Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology.
Mr. Ciaschi will continue his work as an independent consultant, focusing on executive coaching and employee development for organizations in the Northeast through the Midwest.
Prior to consulting, Ciaschi worked at The Xerox Corporation for 38 years, where his most recent role was Vice President of Human Resources for North America. He was responsible for all HR functions and directed the Xerox University in Leesburg, Va., which included all learning and training enablers in Xerox North America as well as their executive education program.
Mr. Ciaschi earned an MS degree in Human Resources from The New School and his BS in Accounting from Bentley College. He currently lives in Rochester, NY. He is a native of Ithaca, NY.
