NuU Medspa help spread the word to help house homeless pets and promote humane education with PAWS Chicago, Pets Are Worth Saving), Sunday, August 24, 2008. NuU Medspa joined their neighbors on Armitage and Halsted in Lincoln Park to help showcase 250 animals for Angels with Tails.
Laura Rowsey, IL District Manager of NuU Medspa and Norm Valine, President of NuU Medspa, were a few pet-lovers in attendance at this memorable event to support PAWS Chicago‘s efforts to alleviate our city’s tragic pet overpopulation problem.
PAWS Chicago’s mission supports Community Outreach and their Humane Education Program to enforce a no-kill city via adoption programs, spay and neuter and humane education. Volunteering your time, working at a clinic, contributing to media and basic office work are just a few ways to keep PAWS Chicago’s vision going strong.
Through several programs including Angels with Tails, Animal Welfare League, Back to School health Fair and DAWG (Dog Advisory Work Group) Meeting, empowers volunteers and pet-owners to save thousands of helpless pets find homes and health.
