Xchanging to enhance its CPS by implementing AIM Software’s comprehensive GoldenCopy Solution

AIM Software announced today another successful going-live of GAIN Golden Copy, which serves as the new technological basis for Xchanging’s established Central Price Service.

Xchanging Transaction Bank (XCH.L), the financial service provider with more than ten years’ experience in the valuation of financial instruments, has significantly expanded its Central Price Service offering with the successful implementation of the GAIN GoldenCopy platform of AIM Software (www.aimsoftware.com). With its Central Price Service, Xchanging Transaction Bank provides institutional investors with validated prices and static data for publicly listed, structured and over the counter (OTC) financial instruments. As a result of the project, Xchanging can now process a much higher volume of data.

The new platform automatically checks the financial data within specified tolerances and clears up and standard-izes the data of different suppliers. The Central Price Services team valuates some 1,000 structured products a day. “Our philosophy is to invest in processes and services in order to improve and develop them continuously for the benefit of our customers”, comments Mike Margetts, Executive Director of Xchanging Financial Markets.

As part of the contract Lufthansa Systems, a global IT service provider based in Germany is responsible for the  Application Service Providing, while AIM Software provides the service-oriented GAIN Data Management platform and parameterizes the application to Xchanging’s needs.

Markus Ehart, Project Manager at AIM Software, points out the main drivers for this cooperation: “AIM Software focuses on a fast implementation of its products to achieve an early ROI for the client. Customers have now the full choice to either manage AIM Software’s multi-entity capable platform as a fully outsourced service or a fully inte-grated application. By utilizing AIM Software’s knowledge in financial data management and the extensive know-how of Lufthansa Systems in service-oriented IT infrastructure, Xchanging can now additionally bank on extended service-level agreements.”

By deploying GAIN GoldenCopy, Xchanging Transaction Bank managed to reduce manual tasks and to increment the automation of standardized data validation thereby increasing overall operational efficiency. Xchanging’s customers in Financial Markets can now benefit directly from the added-value services provided by the GAIN platform. From now on processes and new entities can be added within the GAIN platform easily.
