Follow on Google News | ULI Atlanta to Host Presentation by Christopher LeinbergerNationally recognized land strategist and developer, Chris Leinberger, will give a presentation followed by a panel discussion on September 11, 2008.

Leinberger is the author of “The Option of Urbanism – Investing in a New American Dream.” His experiences and observations from metropolitan areas around the country offer meaningful guidance as metro-Atlanta and the state of Georgia wrestles with growth, development and transportation. Following Leinberger’s presentation will be a panel discussion moderated by Jim Durrett, Executive Director of Livable Communities Coalition. Panelists will include Dick Anderson of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority, Tom Bell of Cousins Properties Inc., and Dr. Beverly Scott of MARTA. To get to the American Cancer Society Center Theater take I-75/85 South to Exit 249C towards World Congress Center / Williams St / GA Dome. Turn right onto Baker Street. Turn left at the intersection of Baker Street and Centennial Olympic Park Drive. Turn left onto Harris Street. The entrance to the parking garage is on the left. Take the elevators, at the entrance of the garage to the street level. From the Peachtree Center MARTA station, the venue is a two block walk down Harris Street. From the Dome / GWCC / Phillips Arena / CNN Center MARTA station, the venue is a two block walk from Centennial Park.
