LIVE at the Freedom Theater in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, October 4th, 2008. - Fitness for Christ presents and debut the popular drama presentation, ‘Mrs. Obesity Jones and her Battle with the Fat Demon’ The show begins at 7pm, and will be headlined by Denise Jones, Director, and play writer as she was inspired to write the play by her real-life story and testimony.
Denise Jones is a walking miracle! From surviving a life threatening experience, to losing an incredible 120 pounds after a life-long struggle with her weight to heading her own Fitness for Christ Weight Loss Ministries. Jones described her struggle with being overweight as compared to a “severe turbulence on a 737 fat flight to fat city.”
Jones is now successfully taking her ministry, and drama presentation on tour across the nation to churches, organizations, conferences and seminars as she hopes to help inspire and teach others who are in the struggle of battling weight problems, and other related chronic illness as a result. She has motivated, empowered and inspired countless lives with her powerful dramatic skit “Mrs. Obesity Jones and Her battle with the Fat Demon” “Through a combination I have been blessed by God to help the people and go out and motivate people that have been through the storms of disease.”

Transportation to and from the Freedom Theater will be provided from Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Pleasantville, NJ through a special $35 travel package ticket. Tickets for the event are available at CLC bookstore in Northfield and Hair by Marion on Main Street in Pleasantville. Seating is limited and filling fast.
