Dr. Arnold L. Farr is an associate professor at the University of Kentucky, a public, research-extensive, land grant university dedicated to improving people's lives through excellence in teaching, research, healthcare, cultural enrichment and economic development. Dr. Farr joined the University of Kentucky in 2008 after serving for more than a decade as a professor of social and political philosophy at St. Josephs University, where he was awarded Teacher of the Year. In his current professorial role, Dr. Farr is depended on to instruct and evaluate undergraduate students, analyze and develop specialized curriculum and oversee the philosophy department. He is himself an alumnus of the University of Kentucky and holds a Ph.D. in philosophy. Dr. Farr is a member of the American Philosophical Association and the founder of the Herbert Marcusa Association. Off campus, he enjoys spending time with family and practicing a Brazilian form of martial arts called Capuela.
In recognition of an outstanding career as associate professor at the University of Kentucky, Dr. Arnold L.
