Daria has recorded and released four children’s music CD’s – each one with national awards for their contribution to children’s and multi-cultural music. Performing on guitar, dulcimer, washboard, spoons and Native drums, Daria’s live show incorporates the type of homegrown music that has been shared and loved by families for decades. In 2007, Daria received a Pennsylvania Council On The Arts Arts Commentary Award and a Citation from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania “Commending an Exemplary Record of Service in the Field of Education”. With a passionate interest in music and community-building, Daria holds a degree in ethnomusicology and is active in Native American, Peace and Children’s and Special Education issues. She lives with her family on a small farm outside of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (United States).
