A FREE workshop on getting the facts about college financial aid will be held at the Wall Library, Allaire & Bailey's Corner Rd., Wall NJ on September 16th at 7:00p.m. The speaker will be Chuck Drawbaugh, a leading college funding expert, consumer advocate and author of ‘How to Send Your Child to College Without Going Broke’. He will be discussing such topics as how to increase your eligibility for aid; how the current market affects student loans: and most importantly, separating fact from fiction regarding the overwhelming process of applying for financial aid.
Additional topics to be included: How to pay for college with less money out of your pocket, how to send your child to a private school for less than the cost of a public or state school, how to pick the colleges that will give you the most amount of money, outlining the most common mistakes parents and students make when applying to college, strategies to be able to afford the school of your dreams, what to do right now if your child is in high school, how SAT/ACT scores translate into financial aid dollars..
