Atlanta, GA August 7, 2008—Corner Stork Baby Gifts, a premier gift company providing unique baby gifts and baby shower favors online, is helping mothers in need by donating baby blankets and clothing to The Baby Blanket Project, a non-profit organization providing baby necessities to underprivileged mothers and their babies.

Spearheaded by Elissa Redmiles, the 13-year-old founder and organizer, The Baby Blanket Project donates "baby blanket packages" to underprivileged mothers in the United States and Israel. To date, the project has donated nearly 500 baby gift packs, which include six essential items (a book, blanket, bib, bottle, book and toy) along with a note to the baby, toiletries for the mother and a "care card" with tips for caring for newborns. They are distributed to hospitals or other organizations that serve pregnant mothers needing financial assistance. Donations of blankets and baby layette sets were made in partnership with Baby Aspen, a leading manufacturer of baby gifts and baby shower favors.
