MINNEAPOLIS--
This portion of the program recognizes women leaders who have successfully driven significant project and/or process improvements within their companies. Nominees were evaluated on job complexity, top and bottom line contribution, innovation, shareholder value creation, corporate governance and ethics, management style, and more.
“For years, hundreds of women across the carrier, broker and agent communities have held executive leadership positions in the industry, moving to greater and more diverse positions of influence and authority,” said Carrie Burns, Insurance Networking News’ senior managing editor and Women’s Leadership project manager. “We are pleased to continue to recognize the unique accomplishments of our industry’s prominent female leaders.”
Among other achievements, Lowder was instrumental in realigning RJF into a practice group model, implementing a customer relationship management system, and restructuring the service model for RJF’s employer services division, which includes health management, safety, loss control, human resource and claim consulting services. These changes brought increased efficiencies to RJF, and provided increased abilities and capacities to improve client service.
“Jill directs everything in this company other than sales and finance, and she does it with a dedication not only to RJF, but even more importantly, to our clients,” said Bill Jeatran, RJF’s chief executive officer. “People want to follow her because they know she’s looking out for them, and that she’ll help them achieve more than they thought possible. Her character, motivation, and energy are her defining factors, and I regularly seek out her opinions and insight.”
Jeatran added that few, if any, of RJF’s past initiatives would have succeeded without Lowder’s help, support and diligence over her 14-year tenure with the firm.
Lowder and the other recipients will be featured in the November issue of Insurance Networking News, and will be recognized at INN’s Women in Insurance Leadership Forum November 11-12 in Las Vegas.
