The 2008 Toyota Sequoia is a full-size SUV, completely redesigned to get a powerful 5.7-liter V8 and a fold-flat third-row seat.  It has become significantly larger than last year's model.  It’s the largest SUV in the Toyota lineup designed to accommodate seven to eight member families with its three real rows of seating.

The new 5.7-liter V8 producing 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque is standard on all other Sequoias and optional on the SR5.

The second-row seats, available in the form of a 40/20/40 bench or captain's chairs, offer a large range of fore/aft adjustment allowing passengers to divvy up the available legroom.
