This year, the Sixth Free Annual Mega Health Camp is being organised in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan from September 7–17, 2008.
Multi-Disciplinary Mega Health Camp
The Multi-disciplinary Health Camp focuses on providing integrated health care services (preventive, curative and referral) including investigative and surgical interventions in a make-shift hospital environs in rural settings.
Venue: Ramniwas Dham Trust, Shahpura, Bhilwara, Rajasthan
Beneficiaries:
OPD target: 5,500 villagers
Surgical operations: 500
Facilities: Make-shift 500 bed hospital, diagnosis, medicines, food and accommodation, surgical operations, mobile surgical unit
Fee: Everything is free of cost
Medical team: 120 specialist doctors and paramedical staff from Surgery, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Medicine, E.N.T., Anaesthesia, Radiology, Paediatrics, and Pathology.
Diseases to be treated: Hernia, Eye Disorders, Allergies, Arthritis, Communicable Diseases, ENT, Gynae Diseases, Oral Care, Kidney and Gall Bladder stones, Ureteric stones, Moles, Fibroid (tumours), Urinary Infection. Appendicitis, Thyroid and Sexually Transmitted Diseases, etc.

September 11 – 12, 2008: Small Operations, medical care, other services
