The Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield, a 1,000 member strong non-profit organization that provides the area’s youth with enrichment and recreation programs in a safe environment, is preparing for their annual fall Haunted House fundraiser and is looking for volunteers for the event.
Anyone who is interested in volunteering for the Haunted House is invited to a volunteer meeting at the Boys and Girls Club on Wednesday, September 10th at 7:15 p.m. The club needs volunteers to help build sets; perform as haunted house characters and help with general operations such as ticket taking and more.
Two seminars will be held immediately after the Haunted House volunteer meeting: Prop Making and Make-Up Technique. Any volunteers who will be involved with props and make-up should attend.
The Boys and Girls Club Haunted House will be held October 24th, 25th and 26th.
“The Haunted House is a real fun event and one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. We try to blend fundraising with a good time for families and it has proven to be successful,”
