Why:
The November 2008 presidential election has been called one of the most important in American History. In an effort to increase the participation of those who may feel underserved by the government and disenchanted with politics, DTLR is committed to informing the community about the importance of their participation. The goal is to register at least 2000 people over the next six weeks. (Celebrities, politicians, entrepreneurs, students are encouraged to attend and participate.)
How:
DTLR will have volunteers and staff members set up in their various locations throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area to provide non-biased information and encouragement to those with questions about the upcoming election.
