Cypriana, the Natural Home Store, to Open in Downtown Kent (Washington)

PRLog (Press Release) – Sep 03, 2008 – Susan Thomas is excited to announce the opening of her new store, Cypriana, the natural home store specializing in certified organic and natural products for bed and bath, a line of baby items, soaps, body lotions, handmade jewelry and other items made from organic materials. Cypriana will also feature custom bedding and slipcovers made with organic or traditional fabrics.

Located in the Titusville Station building on First Avenue South, Cypriana will open on September 12. Thomas invites the public to visit the new store during regular business hours (see below) or during the annual First Avenue Block Party on Friday, September 12 (4 to 9 p.m.). Thomas is planning a grand opening celebration in early October.

Specializing in slipcovers, cushions and bedding, Thomas has seen an increase in the demand for organic materials in recent years. With that in mind, she developed the concept for Cypriana by continuing to provide her custom sewing services in addition to offering organic bedding, bath and baby items.

“So many people are looking for 100% organic products, but the research can be extensive and the labeling confusing,” Thomas explained. “I want to make it easier for customers by offering them one place to shop where they can find pesticide-free, chemical-free items for bed, bath and baby. I will do the research and provide my customers with an option  chemical-free products.”

Planning her store for the last two years, Thomas has had her eye on First Avenue South but had to wait until the right location became available.
“I love downtown Kent, and I knew I wanted to be on First Avenue,” she explained. “Kent is such a welcoming and vibrant city.”
