FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Sep 03, 2008 – Brewed once a year in time for the holidays, the Winter Solstice Seasonal Ale was awarded Gold Medals in 1997 and 1998 by the World Beer Championships, and was named their 1998 World Champion Winter Ale.

“When brewing the Winter Solstice Seasonal Ale, I like to think of a warm fire, a big meal and falling snow,” says head brewer, Neil Atkins. “It’s perfect for friends, feasts and family time.”

Luscious, creamy, smooth and warming, this rich ale is brewed with caramel and crystal malts to give it just a touch of sweetness, then paired with our private blend of holiday spices.   With its velvety body and depths of spicy flavor, Winter Solstice Seasonal Ale is great alone or as an accompaniment to any meal.

This coveted and much sought-after brew is released in November, just in time for the holidays, and by the first of the New Year will be only a fond memory.

As with all of Anderson Valley Brewing Company’s products, Winter Solstice Seasonal Ale is neither sterile filtered nor heat pasteurized.  To fully enjoy this seasonal ale’s artful flavor combinations, it should be served between 40° and 45°F.  Never forget to store it in the refrigerator.
