Specialist Dental Group Expands Its Multidisciplinary Dental Team With A Second Clinic

Specialist Dental Group recently opened its second clinic at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore. With the opening of the second clinic, Specialist Dental Group has nine treatment rooms served by a team of seven leading dental specialists. The clinic, which was formerly named Henry Lee Dental Surgery, has been treating local and international patients for almost 30 years

"Opening another clinic was a logical decision as we needed the extra space for our growing dental team," said Dr Neo Tee Khin, director of Specialist Dental Group. "Our additional location also means that we can provide the depth and breadth of our specialist team under one roof," said Dr Ansgar Cheng, another director of the Group.

According to Drs. Neo and Cheng, the idea of a multi-disciplinary practice arose due to the higher demand and expectation of their patients. “Having all our specialists in one practice improves communication among them resulting in an excellent standard of care and convenience for our patients,” added Dr. Neo.

Specialist Dental Group's team of dental specialists have been internationally trained/qualified in the areas of prosthodontics (teeth replacement), orthodontics (braces), periodontics (gum treatment) and oral maxillofacial surgery. Members of the team include Dr. Neo Tee Khin, Dr. Ansgar Cheng, Dr Helena Lee, Dr. Patricia Yeong, Dr Ho Kok Sen, Dr Elvin WJ Leong and Dr Eugene Chan.

Dr. Neo Tee Khin is one of the few American Board Certified Prosthodontist in Singapore while Dr Ansgar Cheng is the only Canadian Board Certified Prosthodontist in Singapore. Dr Cheng is also an Examiner of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (Canada).
