Splendido, a resort-style retirement community in Oro Valley, Ariz. and the Primavera Foundation, a non-profit organization in Tucson that promotes economic and social justice, have formed a partnership to fight homelessness and poverty in southern Arizona. Throughout 2008 and into 2009, both organizations will support each other’s missions to advocate for Tucson’s less fortunate and help people Age Well.
“The Primavera Foundation is such a valued and longstanding organization in Arizona, and we are ready to contribute to their cause and help fight poverty in Tucson,” said Mark Blazer, executive director of Splendido.

Future charitable events are currently being planned by Splendido and the Primavera Foundation to benefit the Tucson community. Both organizations are inviting the community to help them achieve their goals of Aging Well and helping people transition from poverty to greater well-being and security.
