Sadly this eliminates the millions of avid amateurs who enjoy this sport but are generally very rarely recognised as part of the thriving global golfing community.

All amateurs however, aspire to reach the giddy heights of one day playing on the big stage and standing on the podium to the acclaim of their peers.

One company, Globalgolfers.com has bridged the gap between the club and non-club players by offering all golfers the chance to not only gain an accredited handicap certificate but also play in the best stage-managed events anywhere in the world.

Since 1992, Globalgolfers.com have been managing events throughout the United Kingdom, sending golfers off to overseas finals such as Las Vegas, Jamaica, Pinehurst NC, Bahamas, Portugal and Spain to name but a few. Over 6,000 participants competed each year for the coveted places at each of the finals.  

From the beginning of 2008, Globalgolfers.com rolled out a new turn-key solution for other countries to participate in a world-wide network allowing amateurs to participate in our overseas finals.
