Although his style is unique to him and still to be determined by his fans, DA-NI is a culinary melting pot whose music involves a medley of genres including a taste of the Caribbean, the heart of Hip-Hop, a soul of R & B, and Popular music stirred up from his experiences. Because music was a big part of his life, his grandmother being a Jazz singer herself, it was only natural for DA-NI to find his musical voice by ear. After making his musical debut at the age of 2, DA-NI was able to learn and appreciate the emotions behind music from the back seat of his grandfather's car.
As an adult, this hot new Chicago artist is not only ready to set the game on fire but in the process has also created a style unique to him that allows him to channel this passion and communicate with his fans. "Behind the writing is what I feel, being able to understand a song not just based on an artist's lyrics but the emotions and the thought process behind it, is music."
Throughout the course of his career, DA-NI's passion has not only led him to promote shows, build relationships, and tour, but to also represent himself and flourish as an artist behind and in front of the stage. With the assistance of radio stations, record labels, and industry moguls such as R. Kelley, DA-NI was able to learn the music industry from the inside out. Not only did he promote and correlate with artists behind the stage but has
also promoted and opened up shows for artists such as Usher, Silk, Jodeci (K-Ci & JoJo), former Cash Money artist Juvenile, Bone Thugs-n- Harmony and many more. Being under R.Kelly's musical wing for the past five years, DA-NI was able to grow as a writer, producer, and above all an artist.
