Henderson, Nevada- The TVS Boxing.Net 24 hour daily boxing channel has been launched as the first of a series of TVS streaming channels on the internet. Boxing fans worldwide now have a fulltime channel where they can watch great boxing matches from the past 60 years. This streaming channel includes classic TV fights from Joe Louis to Muhammad Ali to Mike Tyson, and includes many new fights each month.
The TVS Boxing.Net service complements the boxing offered on TV4U.Com, the 42 channel ad supported internet TV service. On TV4U.Com, boxing fans can watch whatever fight they want to watch when they want to watch it. Both services are owned and operated by Margate Entertainment LLC, a Henderson, Nevada based media content company.
"The launch of TVS Boxing.Net is very exciting," said TVS and TV4U Chairman Charry Kennedy. "For the first time boxing fans around the world have their own channel that shows nothing but boxing."
The channel will feature such classic bocing events as the Gillette Friday Night Fights, the Pabst Wednesday Night Fights, and the Muriel Cigar Saturday Night Fights from the 1950's.
THe 60's are covered by fights from the TNT and the TelePrompTer libraries owned by Margate and then the 70's with Margate's Video Techniques library. The 80's are covered by Margate's Mizlou and Katz Television Network libraries.
In all Margate owns more than 1,000 televised fights and all will at some point be on TVS Boxing.Net. Also, Margate is producing new fights and working with promoters such as Richard Steele in Las Vegas and Patrick Ortiz in California.
TVS Boxing.Net will present its first live fight on September 30th, with a Richard Steele Promotion at the Silver Nugget on the Strip in Las Vegas.
