Aug. 29, 2008 - PRLog -- Box Office Superstar Will Smith (47%) Lead a short list of actors chosen by survey to play lead if a movie adaption Of Maurice Woodson's Novel Blood don't Lie was made.  Following him on the list were actors Terrence Howard (23%), Samuel L. Jackson (15%) , and Jaime Fox (8%).

Nomad Entertainment who created the survey wanted to know who people that have read and loved the novel thought should play the embattled fugitive Jerome Henderson.

"Will Smith is the perfect choice if you ask me," said New York Native Jill St. Croix.  "I loved this book and it deserves block buster status and Mr. Smith would give it that.  Plus he's a great actor."

"I imagined Will Smith as Jerome (Henderson) while i was reading it.  I always like to visualize actors as characters in a book I'm reading.  Will (smith) would do the character and Maurice Woodson's novel justice.  I must admit that LL Cool J or Common seemed to somewhat fit the description but Will Smith shares a lot of Jerome Henderson's personality or so it would seem," Marcus Johns stated.

"It is between Will Smith and Terence Howard if you ask me.  If Hollywood decided to make the characters white and since there are no ridiculous stereotypes, they could and the story wouldn't even change, then I would love to see Christian Bale or Brad Pitt play Jerome," said Jones Byrd
